The villa is located in the village of Pererenan near Canggu about one kilometer (or 0.6 miles) from the beach (good for
surfing). It is about 15 minutes to the popular Bali Nirvana Golf Course and the famous Tanah Lot Temple, 20 minutes to
Seminyak/Legian with Bali’s most trendy restaurants such as Warisan, Ku de Ta, La Luciola, etc, and 40 minutes to the
international airport. Palm River Villa is a striking multifaceted structure that successfully integrates a series of waterways with landscaped grounds that slope down to a soft flowing river.

Palm River Villa Accommodation

The Palm River Villa consists of a main building with spacious open-air living and dining areas, a bar and the kitchen and an adjacent two story wing accommodation the five guest bedrooms and a large TV & movie lounge. Both buildings feature traditional thatched roofs and the bedroom wing is sorrounded by lotus ponds. Decorative stone carvings on many outside walls are illuminted with spotlights at night.

From the parking area you step down a few steps to the spacious open-plan living and dining room. The modern furnishings
in the large sitting area consist of comfortable day beds facing a huge sofa table, a bar with five bar stools, and a long wooden dining table seating up to 10 guests all under the high, cathedral-like thatched roof. Polished teakwood floors contrast nicely with natural stone steps leading to other parts of the villa and to the garden.

The living/dining areas and some of the bedrooms overlook the 4,000 sq. meter (about one acre) garden which slopes gently
down to the small river in the back of the property. You find bananas, bamboo, traveler palms, coconut palms and sugar palms together with some stone statues and a small temple next to the river. The 25 meter/75 ft. free-form swimming pool is lined with green natural stone and features a shallow area for smaller kids, a sunken pool bar and next to the pool a traditional Balinese gazebo to enjoy a massage or just to relax.

A large air-conditioned TV & Movie Lounge is located on the upper floor of the bedroom wing and is equipped with satellite
television featuring many international news, sports and movie channels, a video library with over 100 movies, a DVD player and a video projector for watching movies “cinema style”. There is a refrigerator, and two long sofas with over 35 cushions in all sizes can accommodate over 15 adults in comfort.

Palm River Villa Bedrooms

All five bedrooms are air-conditioned and located in the double-storied wing on the left-hand side of the main building. The fact that the toilets are separated from the bathrooms, all sinks and bath tubs are made from stainless steel and the tubs set against beautiful hand-carved stone walls makes them quite unque.

The Master Suite on the upper floor features a king-size 4-poster bed and an open balcony with deck chairs overlooking the swimming pool and river. There is a stereo/CD system and a walk-in wardrobe with an electronic safe. The en-suite bathroom
with double sinks, an oversize bath tub and a shower cabin is shared with a second bedroom perfect for children to be close to their parents.

All three ground-floor bedrooms have a small TV set (showing the movie or satellite program selected in the TV Lounge), walk-in wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms. Only the bedroom right below the master suite features an oversize bath tub, a separate shower cabin and overlooks the garden and swimming pool; the two other bedrooms are slightly smaller, feature smaller bath tubs without separate shower cabin and look out to lotus ponds.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned and those on the ground floor have small TV sets. Satellite television with many international news, sports and movie channels, a DVD player and movie library, and a video projector are installed in the TV lounge. The master bedroom has an electronic safe, and telephones are in each bedroom, in the TV lounge and at the bar.

The fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the main building is run by a trained cook and service staff. Maids, house boys, gardeners and security staff live nearby and on duty whenever needed. There is secure on-site parking for up to 6 cars.
